Got to check it out...

Dianne spent part of today getting up this site so that we can accept donations via Pay Pal for this summer's peace-making through jazz in Istanbul. It is HOT... check it out: http://sistercityjazz.bbnow.org/index.php

On Thursday we're back to Patrick's Pub for a set on LOTS of new tunes - everything from Miles Davis' "So What?" and Van Morrison's "Domino" to Dizzy Gillespie's "Night in Tunisia" (how timely) and a little J.J. Cale's "After Midnight." We're even going to give "Fly Me to the Moon" a shot! Come on out - it will be a gas! Patrick's Pub: Thursday, February 3rd at 6:30 pm. On Park Square opposite First Church.

WHEN LOVE COMES TO TOWN

U2 mixed the blues and the gospel - rock and roll and B. B. King - to create the best blend of faith and testimony in contemporary music. This blog is a summary of my weekly meditations at church - my stories of faith, hope and love. I hope to mix culture, art and biblical stories with the best of the progressive Christian tradition to express my take on God's love coming to town in the 21st century.
