We know that we are participating in God's mission when we are called beyond ourselves to a place of the unknown, boundary-crossing, frontier-crossing, from the safe to the unknown, the secure to the risky. That's the defining of mission. When we risk ourselves for what God is doing in the world. Crossing frontiers and difference in order to be reconciled in the larger work of God.
