Tonight I sat with a Jewish rabbi and a Muslim imam along with about 20 young people - 10 from Israel (Jews, Muslims and Christians) - and 10 from across the USA. Why is it that liberal clergy from these traditions can listen and question one another with respect and love? Why is it that Israeli and American young people interested in peace can share love and respect with one another, too? I am so grateful for this encounter and look to build links with Music in Common. It is a little sign of hope in a sea of tears and fears.
