We are moving very slowly today. It took us much longer yesterday to get to Roanoke, VA than we planned - mostly because of a wicked harsh thunder storm. We ran into it twice! There was hail, there was fog, there was gnashing of teeth and fear of destruction in biblical proportions.
so... in the spurt of chill we decided to stay another night in Roanoke and slip into Nashville on Friday. Good call - we found a hip section of town in the SW with coffee shops and bookstores. Now, after a deep nap, we'll take it slow, wander into the downtown for dinner and live music with a gentle Southern groove. I
