Last night we shared a four hour meal/conversation with two new friends, Annie and Marc, who met us in Bistro Beaufort. We discovered a shared passion for jazz manouche, old school Thelonious Monk, and Montréal. We are now back home in Pittsfield. And as warm and comfortable as our home is, my heart can't wait to get back. Thank you, Stephane et Monique, for extending our stay when the weather turned bad. Thank you, Jean Francois, for welcoming us into your Bistro. And thank you, Annie et Marc, for opening your home and your hearts to strangers.
