a month for making music for peace, justice, beauty, and hope

This Sunday, November 10 between 10 am and 12 noon, Famous Before We're Dead will be playing Dottie's Sunday Brunch in Pittsfield. Later that day, some of the band (Hal and John) will be playing Infinity's Bistro in Norfolk, CT starting at 7 pm. I will be on the road to Ottawa for time with my L'Arche Community.
On Friday, November 22 @ 7 pm, I am organizing a music and poetry benefit for BIO (Berkshire Interfaith Organizing). We are raising funds for their Sanctuary effort and immigrant justice initiatives in Berkshire County. It is a joy to share doing this show with great musicians and poets who are creative, talented, fun, committed to justice, peace and love, and are truly remarkable friends. The gig will be at First Church on Park Square (27 East Street in Pittsfield) and all are welcome. (BTW if you can't afford the suggested $12 donation, come anyway and share whatever you can, ok?) Here are some of the artists who will be kicking out the jams:

Andy Kelly, Eileen Markland, Charlie Tokarz, John Kelly: the Gypsy Jazz Ambassadors
Linda Worster

Between the Banks: Dianne De Mott, Jon Grenoble, James Lumsden, Brian Staubach, Dave McDermott

Jon Haddad
