Today in the afterglow of Thanksgiving in the US we are moving slow... and most of the culture is in a frenzy of shopping. Dianne has to go out to work soon and we've been musing on the real contradictions about all of this when I read this truly insightful posting on The Advent Conspiracy. The more I dwell on my ever-changing faith - especially the beauty and promise of Advent - I am certain that Jewel got it right when she sang: "In the end, only KINDNESS matters." Kindness in challenging the status quo, kindness in living an alternative and kindness to all the chaos around us. And now... onward into Advent and something of the spirituality of Mary, yes?
